Reduce vehicle emissions by:
- Purchasing modern vehicles with environmentally friendly engines
- Reducing empty running by better vehicle scheduling
- Monitoring fuel consumption and ensuring training is given to aid driver improvement
Comply with all applicable legislation as a minimum
Manage waste effectively and where possible reduce it’s creation and impact on the environment by:
- Minimising waste at source
- Re-using materials whenever and wherever possible
- Increasing the use of renewable products and components
- Recycling materials where practicable instead of going to landfill
Maintain a current and effective Environmental Management System
Conduct a continuous improvement programme for areas of the business that have an impact on the Environment by monitoring and reviewing policies, programmes and services.
